Bay Area Corporate Headshots
Sometimes I have to do the long-haul. These guys didn’t know it, but since they were so far from my SF studio, I actually left from home at 4a just to beat the morning traffic down to San Jose to shoot them. They have a sprawling campus in the South Bay. Surprisingly, it actually only took me around an hour to do a drive that would take 2.5 hours in traffic. Luckily my sports club, Active, has an outlet pretty close to their offices. I completed a full workout and went running all by 7a. Unfortunately, it was still dark out while I ran and I didn’t really know the area so it was a bit eery. I lived.
Anyway, these were the big guns for this company. I had to do the beginning of their session in their campus office. Though it offered decent light, it also had the typical brown and yellow walls that come from large office spaces. Furthermore, it was a bit tight in there so I couldn’t get that many camera angles without banging into a wall.
To make it fun, I had them cracking jokes in the beginning so I could get some really candid shots and loosen them up, but really they didn’t need it. They were a very smooth group. In the end, we ventured outdoors to do some photos on their campus. Take a look.
