Last Minute Session- An Afternoon with Mrs. Y {SF Not-So-Traditional Headshot Photographer}

Last Minute Session

I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of shooting this lovely lady in a last minute session. She needed her headshots completed and edited pretty much overnight. I was able to coordinate a Not-So-Traditional Headshot session with her around her neighborhood for the afternoon. Her neighborhood had so many nice characteristics like brick walls, steep hills, and cute stairwells, that there was no lack of variety. We got so many shots that I think it might’ve been hard for her to choose her favorites. Lucky for me, she took them all 😉

I really like this area of San Francisco. It’s close to many great restaurants and good shopping areas while still maintaining a quiet, neighborhood-like feel. I used to wonder why many areas of San Francisco were relatively quiet in comparison to other large cities, and I figured out that it’s because it’s nearly impossible to just walk around without it being a challenge because of the hills. I think that keeps many people indoors without them realizing the reason.

The other reason I like this area is that the architecture is really diverse. There are nooks and crannies everywhere, so it’s very easy to get an interesting picture. You can take a photo almost anywhere and the background just blends right in smoothly. The cityscape drops in effortlessly. You can tell by the pictures we got. Look below 😉
