This session was nothing but pure fun. I was in Atlanta photographing for Intuitive Surgical when I got the call from Osso VR. They needed a last minute session in San Francisco and the only day they had available was the day I was flying back. I had limited gear with me since I was traveling but their location was right next to the airport. I was right around the corner. How could I say no?
When I showed up, they were all playing a VR game. I couldn’t really tell what the game was, but it looked like they were slashing swords in empty air. Since they’re a VR company, this didn’t surprise me, but they’re actually medical company- a really interesting one that develops VR programs for surgical procedures.
They were meeting in SF for a week’s worth of catching up and their CEO wanted to get professional photos of everyone. I was exhausted from flying all day, but I was happy to do it. I blasted out 11 people in one hour and also did some team shots for them.
In the end, they stuck the VR on me and I got the chance to play the sword game. If you’ve never done VR, I highly suggest it.
