Traditional Corporate Headshots
When I took this shoot, I didn’t realize I would be going to the Salesforce Tower at midday. To say there was congestion in the area is an understatement. This shoot was a standard, traditional corporate shoot against a solid backdrop. However, I needed to bring all the necessary gear to get the right look, so I was full of equipment. And of course, the Tower had construction going on every floor. It took me about 25 minutes just to get onto the freight elevator to move my stuff in. I could’ve used the regular elevator, but I would’ve had to move all my gear twice between the parking level and the lobby. Therefore, I opted for the freight elevator to keep it easy. My mistake. In retrospect, I should’ve just gone up the normal way.
Once I finally set up, the shoot was a breeze. I always find it ironic that the most humorous and laid back clients I have tend to be investment bankers and consultants. I enjoyed working with this group and luckily, they didn’t mind that I sprawled my gear out far enough to block their coffee station. Here’s a glimpse at a couple of them.
